2000 grand am 4 cyl - Oil burning smell inside car
My Grand Am 2000 (4 cyl) has a strong oil burning smell inside the car. It comes as soon as I start the heater fan inside. It is very strong smell when car is idling.
I do not see any leaks of oil on the floor. What can be wrong. Please help. Thanks. Jay |

Re: 2000 grand am 4 cyl - Oil burning smell inside car
Open the hood and check the engine area near the exhaust manifold and pipe. The smell is coming from oil burning under the hood and the vents drawing it into the car when the fan is running. I suspect you may have a leaking valve cover gasket.
