Speedo is off by 5-10 mph?

My 92 SE speedo is reading between 5-10 mph fast at 70. Is there a way this can be adjusted?? Speed sensor has been changed. I'm about to pop off the needle and use my scan tool for the speed and put the needle back on while driving down the highway.....

Yea everything is original size, I think it is the cluster because when you slow down the speedo will stay put for a couple seconds. I have a cluster with only 4K miles on it and have had it in there. It works perfect but don't like the idea of the mileage difference, 4K compared to 123K. Another thing no one notices over time that the gauge needles will fade to a more yellow compared to the red/orange and I like the look at night better. But details, details. I probably will switch it back.

needle color fading means that someone was opening the cluster it should be vacuum sealed and as soon as it gets some air they will change colors just like on older Mercedes cars. This is to prevent people from returning miles.

I have to dissagree, I see older cars al the time with faded needles. Early 90s GM was very bad for that especially there trucks. I had a 90 454 SS pickup that I bought with only 2K miles. I sold it with 89K and the speedo along with one of the smaller gauges had almost copletely lost it's color.
