Fuel Gauge

1999 Chev Malibu,112,000 miles. The fuel gauge drops from 1/4 tanks to empty rather quickly. Is this a problem with this vehicle? What is the fix? Thanks

mine does too compared to the rest of the gauge travel. I don't worry about it, I just figure around 320 miles to a tank, that way if my gauge goes wacko I can still have an idea.
