3.0L cam sensor problems.

I just installed a 3.0L in a 99 Windstar...motor cam from a 97 Sable so had to change cam sensor base from old engine...ever since I keep getting code P1309 cam sensor ...I have timed this motor on the comp...and exh...stroke reset light drive for about 30 miles ..lights back on..I have changed sensors twice..still light comes back....any Ideas short of taking it to ford to do a full scope?? Anybody else had this problem?
