uh...

Does the '96-00 civics have a limit on speedometer readings? I barely ever race over 100mph but twice now i've only been able to go about 118-119. Does it limit at 120? or what can i do to get it over that? All i got is a AEM intake, an ractive strut bar, and an Apex'i muffler. I ain't one of those morons who risk other people lives ( i don't drive fast with anyone in the car with me, I don't drive fast with traffic, i don't race anyone on the street) but once in awhile when i leave me gf's house at 3am there is no one one the freeway that goes slightly downhill. Anyway to push it up to over 120?

The speed limiter is around 120-125mph.

I am not sure, I tryed to pull apart a tranny that I just took out, and it was damn near impossible. I would call around though and see who can do it for you.

I take it everyone is talking about an EX...Si's can go over that.

Anyway, not reason to do it, since it takes forever to get there.

The limiter in the EX is 118...don't be fooled if you think it's more...the speedo is off.
