98 Grand Voyager - ECT Removal

I am trying to remove the engine coolant temperature sensor on my 98 voyager 3.8L engine. It looks like the hex has a plastic coating and the wrench slips when turned. Has anyone removed the sensor and if so what tools did you use.

Seems like a simple job if you have the right tools.

Thanks in advance.

There usually 19mm and a deep 19mm socket is all you need to get them in and out.
