Re: x tune headers?????

alright another question for all the gtp guru's,lol. would these be safe mods for my stock 99 gtp? ZZP 1.0 pcm,LS1 throttle body with LQ4 MAF, how much power would i gain from these additions?? These are used parts i have found online they were previously on a regal i believe would this make a difference in anything?? thanks a million guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: x tune headers?????

X tune headers are Pacesetter knock-offs. Something to consider is what kind of steel that they are made out off and thats chinese steel. Warning! I was considering OBX headers as I have good things from Camaro and Mustang guys and they help you save a small fortune. But once again they are modeled after the Pacesetter design which means you'll have problems with connections and fitting.

As for the PCM thats one of the first mods that I did to the car which makes the car come alive. But as for the LS1 throttle body the PCM will have to be calibrated for such and I'm not too sure that the Regal has the same PCM specs as the GTP. Honestly I think the Intense Racing package 1 is overpriced. All in all I would say about 40hp increase with the package and other mods.

Remember that with the modular pulley system you need the pulley removal tool. ZZP has one of the best ones I've seen on the market.

Personally I do not know any GP owner either GT or GTP that has this brand. It looks like it costs less than the Pacesetter headers. I hope it is made of good stainless steel and not Made in China.

Anyone know the specs? Tube and collector diameter/length. etc?

This one sure sounds like you will get what you pay for. I saw them listed buy-it-now on EBay for around $160.00.
