1995 cheve a 1995 s 10y s 10 blazer check engine light is on
i drive a 1995 s 10 blazer and my check engine light came on. i took it to autozone to have it diagniosed and it came back with the code p0141 (ho2s12 heater condition heated oxygen sensor bank 1 sensor 2) first off just wonderin what that means. second how can i replace it or would it be better to have a shop do it

Replacing it is entirely up to you and how comfortable you are with doing the work your self.

Easy job...should be a bunch of posts on oxygen sensors...If i remember correctly Bank 1 Sensor 2 is the oxygen sensor after the cat. Just look underneath for the thing threaded into your exhaust pipe between the catalytic converter and the muffler. Spray a whack of PB blater on it, warm up the engine for about five minutes, cut the wires off so you can fit a deep-well socket or wrench on there (or buy an O2 socket) and have at 'er!
