Bad burnt electrical smell from heater
Driving to work today i noticed on my 05 Trailblazer something let out a bad burnt electrical smell so i stopped to make sure nothing was visibly on fire and all was good but when i got bad in i noticed the heater wasn't working for awhile so drove home and b4 i got there it started working again any ideas?

What year is this truck? No blower I assume?

oops sorry its an 05 TB, no blower for a short time then it started working again

Most likely the blower relay mounted on the case behind the glove box is the source get in there and take a look.

Got it! it was the blower resistor and melted the harness,replaced both and works like a champ!
