1/24 Ferrari 250GT Pininfarina Cabrio S2

Finally completed this one also, built from Airtrax resin transkit (from my own patterns), Fujimi 250GTO as a donor kit, Hobby Design GTO wheels and few detail parts + tires from parts box.

Oh wow! That looks fantastic. I am hoping I can afford one of those transkits after the holidays.

Very nice work. I have the kit and it does capture the look of the car very well.

No flaws and a terrific project. Seems as modelling christmas is nearby...

Great work.

Re: 1/24 Ferrari 250GT Pininfarina Cabrio S2

Nice build of very unusual subject! I'm so glad you decided to do this car.
One question though - what's wrong with wheel arches? They seem like they are not quite straight, seems almost like they have some kind of indentations/chips along the circumference...

Re: 1/24 Ferrari 250GT Pininfarina Cabrio S2

Thanks for the feedback.

Problem with wheelarches is that the character line (<-correct word?) above them is a bit too deep in scale and fades too quickly. This makes the wheelarches look like there is a dent in top of the curve. I should have noticed it a lot earlier than i did It is quite easy to fix, but impossible without disassembling the whole model.

Colour is Motip automotive spray and same brand clearcoat, can't really remember what was the code.
