rough start

I posted about my fan not shutting off about a month ago and only one person sent something back but nothing sence then so actually im not getting any help at all from anyone which kind of blows. but now i have a new problem occuring!!! my check engine light is still on but now the car doesn't want to crank over atleast 2-3 times before it will do anything then when it actually does crank over it will run for .1 second then shut right off. the lights are all coming up just like it just killed out or something. I have to shut it off and do so over and over again until it finally kicks in but then when it kicks in it will idle funny as hell then sometimes it will take right off then other its will continue to foul up. ive changed the mass flow sensor,o2 sensor, the relay for the radiator, temp sensor. none of these has helped me in anyway. ive read a couple of posts on here where people have had the same problem but with each one everyone is getting different awnsers. ive already invested quite the amount of money in it trying to conqure the problem but with no luck yet. im thinking may sparks, wires,or coils. any help would be appritiated.

Re: rough start

Sounds somewhat similar to a problem my dad had with a different car. In his case, it turned out to be the IAC valve. If your CEL is still on, have the code read by a local Advance Auto or Autozone & let us know what it is. Hopefully we'll be able to help narrow it down for you.

Re: rough start

I ran it in but the only thing they could come up with was the mass air flow,o2,and temp sensor. i took it back in after i changed all three and they said there was nothing else coming up with it. of course when they put it on the cel went out for a breif moment and so the fan quit staying on all the time also. but thats expected. it seems like ever sence the cel came on and the fan started messing up the car started acting up like it is now. is the part you're speaking of have a more common name? im looking on advanceauto but im not being able to come up with much.

I think that I replied to your first post, I said it was bad ect sensor or ect sensor was disconnected or there was open in the wire for between ect and pcm..... this is for your fan constantly on issue. Post your codes if you want people to help you better.
