I looked on Auto Zone web site and the show a 02 Tahoe 4X4 Z engine 5.3 is flex fuel.
But be sure to call dealer to double check.

i went to the gm chevy dealer they told me they did not make a flex fuel tahoe in this year they checked the vin and everything so i dunno the cap i got on it is a aftermarket cap i bought myself and dont have the owners manual lol
but on some websites it does ask if this is a flex 5.3l cuz i was goin to get a programmer cuz got 35s on it and body lift ect... so i dont know if i just got a retarded gm parts person when i asked or not lol

the weird thing i got the z digit but i dont have a thing on the vehicle that has ever said anything about flex fuel the first owner was my g/f mom bought it new and she gave it to use about a year ago and not a single sticker or notin on the vehicle saying flex

kk i found my old gas cap on sheer luck just roaming around 1 day the cap all it has on it is wich way it turns and no flex fuel signs or notin

you do have a 5.3Z Flex Fuel Tahoe. all of the gas caps for that year are the same for the 5.3T,6.0U,4.8V,5.3Z,4.3X,8.1G,4.3W,6.0N

L59 is the RPO code for the 5.3L flex fuel engine...look for it on the sticker in the glovebox.
