Maintenance light

How do you reset the maintenance required light? I change my own oil but the light comes on automatically at the 8,000 km interval

Not sure what year but try this... With key off, hold down trip reset button while turning the key to II position (not start) Continue to hold until maintenance light goes off. Turn off key.

...or if you have an older generation Honda, insert your key in the slot next to the trip reset button.
