Revell 1/24 BMW 507
Hi.
I'm thinking of picking up Revell BMW 507 kit and don't know how good is it. Is the quality comperable to Fujimi/Tamiya kits? Does anyone have any experience with this kit? Thanks |

Re: Revell 1/24 BMW 507
I have both the regular and "premium" kit with white metal parts in my collection. The body is excellent. The engine and chassis are well detailed and accurate but not as detailed as a Fujimi EM kit. Tires are realistic, chrome plating is a little thick. Over all a very nice kit of a beautiful car well worth building. The premium kit has engine block, exhaust and wheels cast in white metal in addition to the plastic kit parts. I'll leave it for you to decide if having that is worth anything.

Re: Revell 1/24 BMW 507
It is a beautifully detailed kit, but sadly, like many Revell kits, the fit is horrible for the most part. Nothing that is unbuildable though. Definitely once to get if you like the car.
