[91 Park Ave] Intermittent Stalling Related to IAT?
Hi,
I've been having some troubles with an intermittent stall. I recently bought a trouble code reader and was able to acquire a code 23. Using my service manual I was able to narrow it down to the Intake Air Temp. Sensor. Problem being is that it was unplugged. Could an uplugged sensor like this be causing an intermittent stall? Essentially my car would just shift into neutral, but i'd still have electricity to my radio etc. Any help here would be great. Thanks alot. |

Re: [91 Park Ave] Intermittent Stalling Related to IAT?
Code 23 IAT will not cause a stall, you have another non-related problem. Check fuel pressure & spark when it stalls. BTW, will it start back up immediately after a stall? If so, be sure to check battery terminals for corrosion & tightness.

Sometimes it starts up immediately, usually if it doesn't start immediately I can just give it a few minutes and try again. I've never had it stall and then not start.

During the next "few min stall", check fuel pressure & spark.
