Strange Interior Leak Problem

I have a 2002 Buick Lesabre Limited. When we have a good rain, the following day the Floormat and carpet behind the drivers seat is soaked. Its not a little wet, its drenched. I have looked at the door seals and window seals and see no signs of seepage. Just that the floor is wet. The water is also only on the floor, I see no creep-age from the side toward the door. I have had people ride with me in the rain and they never noticed a leak while riding.

Very strange. Anybody else have this issue?

Re: Strange Interior Leak Problem

I had the exact same problem on one of our 97 Lesabres. It was about 2 years before I got around to doing something about it. I ended up adjusting the back, left side, door latch bolt so that the door pulled in tighter when it closed. This stopped the leak. I believe the water was leaking in at the top of the door by getting by the door seal. The water that runs off the roof kind of channels through there. When I adjusted the bolt latch, it pulled the seal closer and stopped the leak.
