High Pitch beeping noise

I was going to go start the 1989 ford probe lx up but before I went to turn it over I noticed a very high pitch beep. Also the digital dashboard doesnt light up but the radio turns on. Any ideas on what this means?

Computer needs to be reset. Disconnect the negative battery terminal for 5 minutes. It could be a bad ground to the battery, but you will take care of that when you disconnnect the negative terminal.

If a bulb is out on a cluster, it could generate an audible alarm.
