A year without Layne.
Well its been around one year since my favorite front man from my favorite band of all time passed away; Layne Staley. While his body was found April 19th, his death was determined to have happen around April 5th. When I heard this my heart dropped and breathing stopped for a moment. It saddens me that a man with such an amazing voice and such talent could not overcome his drug abuse. Knowing that Alice In Chains is officially no more I can only hope for the possibility of unreleased material to surface in the near future. No matter what this will be my favorite band forever. I just thought I'd post this as a tribute to Layne Staley and see if there's any other fans out there.
R.I.P 1967-2002

Very sad indeed. AIC is definitely one of my favorites. Layne had great talent and a very unique voice. Hard to believe a year has already passed
