HKS F-Con software RB26DETT

I have a couple of F-con's that I wanted to try and use with my GTR.

I think they're from an R32 with an RB20DET motor. Does anyone know if the EPROM software will work or not with my RB26DETT? and will it do any harm to try?

If not, does anyone know where I can get the software for mine?

Thanks.
Ant

You have to get the software from HKS direct.

But they wont sell it to you unless you are a tuning shop...

yeah, and I was gonna say, isnt it in Jap?
Everyone in Jap uses the F-Con, but hardly anyone outside there coz its almost impossible for someone who doesnt know jap to tune.

The lanuage is called Japanese. I consider Jap to be a derogartory term...

There is F-Con S software in English . I had a copy of it when I was at MotoRex.

They were just working on getting the English version of the F-Con V Pro software out to some tuning shops...

If it's been working in an R32 with RB20DET might it work okay with my R33 RB26DETT?

It probably won't. The RB20DET uses a single air flow meter while the RB26DETT uses two. So there has to be allocation for singles from the two air flow meters to the ecu.

I could be wrong heck I'm not always right , but everytime you are looking to add something to a GTR it seems to be very specific for the GTR. Things like ECU's and other electronics that either control fuel, ignition etc.

Well I'm gonna try the F-con (maybe I'll try it with an R32 ECU - the R33 will run okay with an R32 ECU)

Let you know how it goes
