06 Maxx - Remote Reprogram

Need to reprogram both remotes. Neither work to lock anymore, yet all other buttons work fine. Changed batteries, no fix. Stopped at the dealership, they said they just needed to be reprogrammed, common after a few years, and ONLY costs $80!! Isn't there a way to do this myself???

Mine went 5 years no problem, except I needed to solder one for bad connection.

Re: 06 Maxx - Remote Reprogram

Sometimes you get lucky by holding down the lock and unlock buttons at the same time next to your car for about 10 seconds. If you hear the locks cycle then the program worked. I'm not sure if this works anymore but it used to.
