Re: Blazer air pump
Vague descriptions don't help anyone
What was the DTC that they retrieved? We need it to help you diagnose the problem.

Re: Blazer air pump
Hey Master.Tracked it down to blown fuse on air pump.Seems to be pumping good when activated.SES light still on.Back to Auto store and code was again P410.Same as before. Will it clear itself or should I just take the car to reinspection station. Manual said it can take several days for computer to figure things out.I almost surrender. Thanks

Re: Blazer air pump
The very first thing the test stations look at is I/M Readiness, if all tests are not complete the vehicle is given an immediate FAIL. If you reset the OBDII, all monitors will have to run and complete their tests. The manual is right, it might take a while for the SES light to turn off, and longer still for the DTC to be cleared from the history file. You can try running a drive cycle, that might speed things up a little. http://www.obdii.com/drivecycle.html
