Location of Signal flasher for 97 Ranger
I know someone has posted this question befor for a 96 (same thing) but apparently their question was never resolved, so here we go again. I'm trying to find the exact location of the turn signal flasher for my 97 Ranger. Everyone says it's on the left side of the I/P on the fuse panel, or thereabouts, I've pulled the fuse panel out looked behind it (except in the plastic cover that protects the fuse panel. I've taken the lower shrouds under the Steering wheel off looked up under there no luck there either. I'm talking about the little round two or three prong unit everybody is familiar with, but there is nothing like that anywhere that damn fuse panel, (I had an 87 Ranger where it was located on the fuse panel) Anyway, I could sure use some help.

Re: Location of Signal flasher for 97 Ranger
Not sure when it was started so I could be feeding you a line of crap so take it for what it's worth <G>
On my '04 the turn and hazard flasher are integrated into one unit that's on top of the column, it's square not round. Turn your four ways on and see if you can hear or feel the flasher working..Mike |

Re: Location of Signal flasher for 97 Ranger
My 4-ways don't work either, but I guess I'll have to get back under there and poke around again. I also suspect your right about this thing being intergrated and square with a factory connector, not the standard round two prong affair the parts stores keep trying to sell me, thanks Mike.
