2005 Corolla loses power
My sister in law has a 2005 Corolla with a 2.2 engine that is acting odd. You can be driving it and suddenly, it will act like it quits pulling. You cannot give it any more throttle, no matter how far down you press the accelerator, it loses speed. Then, if you pull over and kill the engine, when you restart it, it runs great for a while. Then it does it again. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for the help, guys.

Re: 2005 Corolla loses power
Sounds like an electrical issue. I would have a repair shop scan it for any possible trouble codes.

have the garage check your mass airflow sensor/meter if it is not calculating the proper air fuel mixture for the amount of air the engine is taking in it will cause this exact symptom.
