'02 Century low coolant light stays on
my father in law gave me an '02 Century V6 with about 75K on it. The low coolant light is on, but the radiator and recovery tank are both full. i've bled the air out from the bleeder valves, but it stays on. the stuff in the recovery tank looks a little slimy - like there's a bit of oil in it - but the coolant in the radiator and engine look good. Could it just be the sender? it doesn't run hot at all. Where is the sender on that car? Thanks

Re: '02 Century low coolant light stays on
There is a coolant level sensor located on the radiator. Remove it and clean it or replace the sensor. They can get dirty or just quit working. Once you clean it or replace it the light should go off. Don't forget to use a thread sealer when you replace the sensor to prevent it from leaking.

youll probably have to take battery out too to get to it if it's like the older set up?
