"Low Traction" Light

Low Traction Light will come on when barely moving, taking off and stopping. Also, when turning the steering wheel at idle speeds, it feels like the breaks are being applied for a moment.

Also, ABS and TC lights have been coming on and staying on occasionally.

Vehicle has 200,000 on it. Pass side hub replaced 6-8 months ago.

Replaced drive side hub last night and still have the problem in first paragraph however ABS and TC lights are no longer appearing.

ideas?

Re: "Low Traction" Light

You most likely have a weak signal from one of the abs sensors. It is possible it's the new one, or could be any of them. Either a scan tool with ABS capability or a voltmeter to measure output from each of the sensors when you spin the wheel manually is needed.

Re: "Low Traction" Light

Make sure the Wheel Speed Sensor cable hasn't rubbed through the insulation, the cable runs really close to the brake rotor and it could get cut if the cable were not rerun correctly. Also check that the mechanic got the plug on firmly, and it hasn't come disconnected. It's a pain to replace the Hub Assy and expensive, check the simple stuff first.
good luck
