New to Hyundai Please Help !
OK so I have a 99 Elantra, with a check engine light on, only problem is I pulled the codes and they don't really make any sense to me. Codes are :
P0310 misfire P1700 undefined P0710(pd) trans fluid temp circuit P1B00(pd) Undefined Does anyone know of something that will trigger these specific codes? I cleared them a few days ago and they were the exact same ones it took about 2 days to come back on and nothing noticable happened to the car Thanks Last edited by carguyvr4; 11-27-2009 at 11:34 PM. |

Re: New to Hyundai Please Help !
The codes you list don't match with anything posted on the hmaservice.com website for your year, or out of the Haynes repair manual. You might want to verify the codes with another scan tool just to be sure.

Re: New to Hyundai Please Help !
I'm also getting the P0301 code on a 06 elantra.
According to a website is a misfire in cylinder 1. It says posible couses, low or high pressure in system, coil or spark plugs, vacum leak. I was looking throught the engine bay and I notice a tube under the throttle body that wasnt conected to any thing. I was thinking that that might be the problem. Is your car sometimes misfires under acceleration for a moment and the goes forward, because this is what is happening to my. Here are pictures of the tube I am talking about maybe someone can help us both. ![]() ![]() ![]()
