Re: 1997 caravan tcm

Your MIL code 66 has two different meanings. If you connected a scanner and read the scanner code that correlates to the MIL code 66 you would get either a P1698 - "No CCD messages from TCM" or code P1695 - "No CCD messages from Body Control Module" (BCM). Your problem is probably associated with the BCM. Autozone will read scanner codes for free. What symptoms are you seeing?

The BCM controls many of the electrical functions of the van. Symptoms usually include erractic instruments, door locks, lighting, wipers etc. Sometimes it can keep the van from starting. The code doesn't mean you change the BCM right away. There can be several causes.

Re: 1997 caravan tcm

would the BCM also affect the heat too like the heater control and maybe the door that lets in the cool air?
