Smile Engine Vibration '89 Town Car

Hello forum, my first post here....question: I have an '89 Town Car with roughly 130,000 mi., in great condition. I've owned the vehicle for 16 years, it has been immaculately maintained. I just had a complete tune up/checkup etc., with transmission service. I'm noticing a vibration at about 65 mph up that wasn't there before. It's not hard, but noticeable. It's fast, like a vibrator, and comes and goes every few seconds. The engine isn't missing, at least that I'm aware of, smooth at idle anyway. I've also noticed a bit of a jump in oil consumption, about 1/2 qt. every other week, I used to not put anything in it for months. This vibration goes away after slowing down. I'm not sure what to think of it, anyone have any ideas ??

Re: Engine Vibration '89 Town Car

did you have the trans flushed? If so, they might not have put the shudder guard in it. I would recommended Lucas Transmission Treatment.
