Unhappy 2001 Taurus AC Trouble Please Help

About 2 years ago, when I bought my Taurus, the AC worked perfect. Then after a while it only worked on full blast. Then it started to work occasionally. Then it quit working, but if I kicked the interior floor panel, it would turn on and run fine until the engine was turned off. Now it wont do anything. The heat and front defrost doesnt work either, but the rear defrost works great. However, when I turn the ac switch on, my ac line has a frost on it in the engine, so I'm thinking that the problem isn't with my compressor. PLEASE HELP!!!

Welcome to the forum!

I think you're suggesting that the fan doesn't work rather than the heat/A/C not working. For awhile the blower only worked on high speed (correct?) and now you don't even get that?

If that's the case, it sounds like your blower motor resistor probably failed first and now the blower motor is probably also shot. Or, by kicking the interior fuse panel you finally broke something else.
