I think my switch on the headlight broke
it will not shut off the head lights The headlights stay on when car is off and key is out and the switch does not shut off the lights any help? 1998 cavalier 2.4L |

J/K, I wouldn't do that. Look at a wiring diagram and see where they get power from, it could also be the relay sticking.

which relay is for the headlight?
its not just the headllight its the parking lights too. they will not shut off. I even cut the 4 wires going to the switches on the lever. Did not work I tried various connecting of the wires and grounding them nothing works I think I need a new lever but I am not sure yet. |

Pull the cover on the fuse/relay center, it's probably labeled.. otherwise just pull them one at a time until the headlights go out.
