Dead
Hey everyone. Last month I woke up and tried to start my car and the battery was dead. I jump started it and replaced the battery. It seemed fine until today when I went to start it and it was dead again. Any ideas on what the problem might be or how i can diagnose it on my own?

Did you replace with a new battery?
Old, or used batteries won't hold a charge, like they once did. Last edited by danielsatur; 11-21-2009 at 05:49 PM.

It sounds like the alternator isn't doing it's job, is there any DTC's, or Alarms?
1) Don't jump start, the battery is dead, and this will cause too much of a demand for the alternator. 2) Take the battery out, and take it back to the local Auto parts store for a free charge. 3) Put the battery back in your car, and have the local Auto parts store test your alternator.
