Dead

Hey everyone. Last month I woke up and tried to start my car and the battery was dead. I jump started it and replaced the battery. It seemed fine until today when I went to start it and it was dead again. Any ideas on what the problem might be or how i can diagnose it on my own?

Re: Dead

Did you replace with a new battery?

Old, or used batteries won't hold a charge, like they once did.

Re: Dead

It sounds like the alternator isn't doing it's job, is there any DTC's, or Alarms?

1) Don't jump start, the battery is dead, and this will cause too much of a demand for the alternator.
2) Take the battery out, and take it back to the local Auto parts store for a free charge.
3) Put the battery back in your car, and have the local Auto parts store test your alternator.
