91 s10 Blazer quits when parking

My 91 blazer 4.3 litre engine quits when turning the steering wheel in drive or reverse when parking. Can get it to do the same thing by having it in drive or reverse and turning the steering wheel back and forth all the way each direction. vehicle has to be warmed up before this happens.just driven around the block and it does it. Frustrated. Can anyone Help me. No codes show up on scanner. Thanks.

With the exception of this problem, does it run alright? If it does, check your IAC valve, take it out and clean it, make sure it works and see what happens.

Thank you for responding. I put in a new IAC. the vehicle has more power now but the same problem still exists dies when turning the wheel to park. Any other sugestions. Thanks.P.S. The vehicle runs good other than that.Checked and replaced vacum lines. New cap roter, plugs and wires.

Yeah it was running strong before this and I just plugged the old fuel pump in and it cycled up so there is power to the pump. I am wondering if anything could be wrong that would burn out a pump like that in under a month? Perhaps this was just a crappy pump. I have noticed my dashlights resetting since I installed it ( or that is when I first noticed them cutting out). other than that and the old key does not want to come out of the ignition when in park(use the wheel tilt to solve this as a quick fix) it has been running well since I installed the new pump.
