Getting ready to buy a 2000 Eclipse 4cyl 2.4. It is a manual, and will go into 4th gear but you have to hold it in, as it will pop right back out. So i'm thinking it's the sychros.. am I right in this?.. and if so.. are the they really expensive? used to RWD trans cheap ass stuff.. this import stuff is..well... foreign to me, lol...

Re: no 4th Gear 2000 Eclipse 4cyl Manual

unless you get it on a killer deal, i would imagine it was abused so plan accordingly.

You could find a used trans cheaper than it would be to rebuild i would think.
