Hey will these fit the hatchbacks?....

If so what modifications would have to be done? If any!

I think CRX and Hatch lights are the same. I've even heard of Sedan ones being the same but that sort of makes no sense.

those look like USDM headlights but if u look closely, its one big headlight with a high and low beam in one, and the usdm ones have a seperate high and low, this means that it is off a ZC power'd Civic because they came like this.......

i dont carewhat anyone says....the parts numbers for the 88-89 and 90-91 sedan, crx and hatch headlights is the same, meaning it is the same part, you just have to replace 88-89 with 88-89 and 90-91 with 90-91 because brackets are different

Thumbs down

yes...those are different...The light won't fit in the hood cutout without modification...the angle from the top inside of the light to the bottom inside is different, and I think the while thing itself is a li'l longer than USDM

And that slammed89civic dude is right too..I am pretty sure all the actual USDM headlight units are the same, just different brackets.

I would think that it should fit just fine.. JDM hoods, fenders, and front bumpers are no different than our USDM ones, so why would the headlights not fit right!?

Okay, to explain this a lil bit: there are 2 styles of headlights is Japan and Europe, the B16 powerd EF's had the longer and more angled headlight which WONT fit. But the ZC Powerd EF's had the same dimension's as the USDM Headlights and will fit right in. The only difference in ALL JDM and EDM headlights from USDM headlights are that the JDM/EDM ALL had 1 light in the headlight (H4) and the USDM ones have 2 lights (9006 and 9005).......... That should clear this up

ali pretty much summed it up, the japanese si has a 1 bulb piece (h4) headlamp, all usdm's have two, 9006 and 9005...the SiR headlights from Japan have H4's too

Ah, hang on though, coz my 88 civic has got twin bulbs in the headlight , where as my 1990 had a single bulb headlight,

Maybe they changed it in 1990, i think thats wot it might be actually
