will a transmission out of a 1999 silverado fit a 1999 tahoe

will a transmission out of a 1999 silverado 5.3 fit a 1999 tahoe 5.7?

Same size transmission ?
60 or 80E
2 or 4W drive?

STD 4wd 4l60e. push button on both but the Silverado has tow haul

Should fit right in there.
But always check the PCM/VCM wiring in both transmissions.
What is bad on the one in there?
