Reaction Time

When I was a kid I learned that the average driver's reaction time is: .75 seconds... or 1 car length for every 10 mph. Click below to test your average reaction time. Be careful, this can be addictive.

Re: Reaction Time

Interesting that we're all pretty similar. I saw an interview with Jeremy Clarkson playing a reaction time game with Michael Schumacher, who performed no better than average. The point of it was that being a great driver has nothing to do with a fast reaction time, and a lot to do with feeling a car going sideways earlier than the next guy. Watching F1, and seeing the way those guys react to things, I'm still in awe, but it's interesting to think that their synapses don't fire any quicker than the rest of ours.

I was a Bobcat, too.

Re: Reaction Time

.1872 Average gets the Rabbit again ; I've had ( 5 ) all at different times @ 0.000 ; half a body out of the fence , a few around 0.086's , most in the 0.172's ... This thing competes w/ my other addiction of computer cribbage ... Paul W.
