Hey I was looking at the bov made by forge motorsport and was wondering if any of you knew from experience if they make good parts.

Never heard of them. A little pricey, no?

Re: forge motorsport bov

Why don't you go w/ a brand that's a little more reputable? I have the GReddy type RS, I did a lot of research before I bought it and everyone seemed to really like it. I would stick w/ a HKS, GReddy, Tial, or a Turbo XS BOV if your already going to spend the money anyway. Why are you attracted to the Forge?

How about this one BOV I heard on my buddies SRT4. It's a RFL BOV that he bought off ebay, RFL stands for Really F**king Loud Blow Off Valve. Loud as hell and there relatively cheap but I don't know how reliable they are or how much boost they hold.

Re: forge motorsport bov

WTF? People recommending GarbageXS over Forge? LOL.

I can't seem to give away my TurboXS, and for good reason.

FWIW, I've had a Forge and it wasn't bad at all. Good design, but never found the right spring pressure for my vacuum so I'd get surge on throttle lift.

That would be me, and throw the XS on ebay if you want to get rid of it.

Which one are you going to go w/ BTW?

Re: forge motorsport bov

Why knock turboXS?
I ran TurboXS RFL on my little brothers SRT4 for a year on 24psi until the car was sold. No problems....???

I've run 4 over the years and none could hold a BLT past 14-16lbs...except the one I have now that holds ~20 but is double o-ringed.

Don't get me started on their garbage boost controllers.
