Well, I need some more advice from you experts.
My 96 PA is going to need tires real soon. I found a 1/2" long separation in the side wall of one of the tires. Currently the car is sporting Kendra Kenetica P215 70 R15's. I drive 75 miles on the interstate to work 5 days a week. Looking for a reasonably priced tire with good ride and wear characteristics. What do you guys recommend (or NOT recommend)? Thanks! |

Re: Tires for Park Avenue
I have a set of Hankook High Mileage tires on my 96 PA = they are quiet and have served me well. They do have whitewalls on them - which look good on a PA (IMHO).

Re: Tires for Park Avenue
Well, I had new tires and a four wheel alignment done yesterday. I had some General Altimax RT's put on. That combined with the alignment has finally eliminated the severe high speed (> 60 MPH) front end vibration that has plagued me since I bought the car. Drove it to work and back today and thoroughly enjoyed the ride.
Looking foward to many more miles and months of enjoyable driving.

Re: Tires for Park Avenue
When you had the new tires put on, did they do a dynamic balance or a road force balance? Thank you.

Re: Tires for Park Avenue
Sorry for the delayed response. The tires were only dynamically balanced.
