Snap On Flank Drive Plus Wrenches

I recently purchased a set of Flank Drive Plus wrenches from 1/4 to 1 1/4 and noticed immediatly that once you get above a 3/4 the handles have sharp edges instead of a soft curve and it really hurts my hand when I grip them firm. Is this the way Snap On is making them or did I get a bad set that mabey wasn't given the proper finishing touches before it got chromed? If anyone else has experienced this please reply.

Don't have any but that won't fly for a $300 + wrench set. I'd be asking the toolguy to look at another set.
