AFS servicing on 92?
can the AFS be serviced at all? i get surging under steady pedal position, no power under load and just general bad mpg right now.
has a new cap and rotor, plug wires, electrical connections cleaned, extra ground strap from valve cover to body, and i bought a new o2 sensor, but can't get the old one out (tried a vw shop, they couldn't either).
the above changes have made the issue less noticeable, but they are still there.
i have a 74 412 wagon with an AFS similar (different pins) and was told it either works, or it doesn't... is the AFS on a digiII the same?
