white smoke without coolant loss
hi
have a 1995 millenia S at 140k miles. timing belts/water pump have been changed about 1000 miles ago. besides the smoke, the only remarkable issue is that it starts a bit delayed. maybe one or two sparkplugs are corroded? the white smoke: when i bought it, it would spit a big white cloud when starting. but then it would stop. i read in forums that many millenia S had that and that it should be fine in case it stops after half a minute. it did. a few weeks back, when i refilled some oil, i might have refilled too much. it started smoking during the drive. so i let it drain out 2 days ago. I have driven about 30 miles, but it still smokes. there are no leaks to my knowledge: i have checked the oil cap, it looks fine. i do not have any coolant loss, it is still full since i bought it. no leaks on the ground. but it keeps smoking white. what could it be? i have read forums and white smoke is always supposed to be an indicator of coolant loss or too much oil. but i ruled out both and it is still smoking. i am a bit desperate. |
