Still smoking a lot after changing lower intake So frustrated

I just changed the lower intake gasket on my dads 2000 malibu. I bought the better gasket set and was very careful with the installation. I drained the oil refilled with oil and oil flush let it run five minutes then refilled with oil. The car is still smoking like crazy with a slight sputter and water coming out of tail pipe. Very frustrated please help. Head gasket?

The smoke is pouring out of the tail pipe.

What color is the smoke? If it is white, there is coolant going into the cylinders somewhere. If it is bluish gray, there is oil going into it. If black, it is running really rich. Based on the job you just completed, I am almost confident that you are seeing white smoke and that there is still a leak somewhere. It is possible one of the bolts didn't get tightned when you did the gasket work?

When I replaced the lower intake gasket on my 2003 Malibu, it had a lot of white smoke coming out as the spilled coolant was burned off. Good luck
