Rubber Tyres painting

Many aftermarket products are specially designed for painting the tyre logos on the tyre's side (tyre painting templates). My question is with what kind of colors can you paint the rubber?

Re: Rubber Tyres painting

I have to second what The Yes Man said. I`ve painted tires with enamels many years ago that are still tacky.

I have luck with Tamiya flats, as well as Testors Laquers.

Do you guys know where to get "templates" for tire lettering?
