99 gs

Hey guys I am thinking about getting a 99 Eclipse gs. I was wondering what are some common problems with these or things I should watch for? And how many miles do you guys have on yours? Any input would be great! Thanks.

Re: 99 gs

These cars are just like any other car, if it is taken car of and maintenence is done it will last a long time with no problems. The 420a motor will last to probably 200k if taken care of. I have 130k on my car now, it does have a new motor but beside that nothing major has gone wrong with it. So when you go to look at one just make sure you check the regular things you would when buying any used car and you will be fine.
