No Heat in 1995 b2300

Hello,

My dads very reliable 1995 b2300 mazda truck had the heat go out. The blower motor works fine, as does the switch to change the settings of the heat. I topped off the radiator and looked for leaks. None are present in the interior floorboard or under the engine compartment. The truck runs with the temp gauge at the middle, and never overheats. Is there a common heat defect with these trucks, or can someone send me on the right direction. Thanks, William.

Re: No Heat in 1995 b2300

I am having the same problem out of a 94 mazda B3000. The a/c works fine but the heat never gets hot. I changed the thermostat and still no heat. The toeboard and floorboard is dry. I am still troubleshooting and i will post if i find a possible problem

Re: No Heat in 1995 b2300

i've got a 92 b2200 that hasn't had heat for 5 years now. I just delt with it until a couple of weeks ago i got it back out to drive as a daily driver. I too had the same problem. No leaks, changed thermostat, topped off antifreeze, and thought all the heater controls were working proper. Just above the accelator there is the control flap operated by a cable for the hot and cold. I found out that this is not opening all the way when you turn heat knob to hot. I just reach down there and push it up with my finger now and the heat just blows out. I do not have a fix yet but this is the problem on mine.
