Air Bag sensor location?

I was doing an oil change on my 1995 jimmy and found the airbag sensor laying in the plastic skid plate near the oil filter. I was wondering where it is supposed to be mounted?

Thanks
Brian

Re: Air Bag sensor location?

Use the length of the connector wire to see what it reachs to, should see the mount holes, but it should be on the radiator support side panel, I believe. Make sure you have the correct location or the system could fail when needed.

Thanks Max, I will do that... Don't know why I didn't think of that! :-) I am worried that that thing bouncing around on that skid plate might set off the air bag... YIKES!!!
