Thumbs down Fuel Filter Tool Question -- 97 Explorer 5.0

Will the tool linked below work for removing the fuel filter on my 97 Explorer 5.0? Thought I would ask before I crawl under there. I think these are A/C line tools. Been a long time since I used them! http://mbruffey.home.comcast.net/~mbruffey//pics/tool.jpg Thanks, Mark

Yeah, I seem to remember trying an aluminum release tool at first on my 2000 Mountaineer, then resorting to my similar plastic assortment to finally get it off.
