92 gm....no odometer/trip

My trip meter and odometer quit workin, but the speedometer still works! Has anyone ever had this happen before? Havn't pulled the cable off the tranny yet...does the 92 have a cable?

Sounds like the plastic gear sets wore out for these units. You have to pull the Instrument Panel and replace them but be careful as there are various gauges and circuit boards back there. Check these folks out for parts or repair:

Bob is correct. There is a little rubber gear in the speedometer housing thar makes the odometer work. They will break the gears off.
