possible vaccume leak?

so i put in a new boost gauge lastnight and today its not pulling like it did the other day. i also did the free mod so it should actually pull a little more if anything right? at idle the new gauge reads -20 and when i get on it, it doesnt go more than +5. any ideas? thanks

Check for boost leaks.

ok, i fixed the ghetto rig i had before. it pulls a lot better than before. it still only goes to 5psi, is that about right for bone stock? but now, after like 2 minutes of driving my check engine light comes on...and i cant go to napa or advanced because they only do i think 95 and new cars

5 psi is below normal. As said you have a boost leak.
