computer controlled climate control

-98 Blazer LT seal between tranny and transfer case failed and oil got to vacuum lines and heater now blows only from upper ventilators. I changed the seal and now I have to clean vacuum lines. This car has a computer controlled climate control.
Where is the controller which actually connects vacuum lines to actuators?
And how can I clean these vacuum lines?
Thanks

First check for good engine vacumn to heater controls.

When oil gets into vacumn lines it can swell them up and make them leak.

Confirm good vacumn to everything.

Re: computer controlled climate control

Is the solenoid behind the airbag unit. Do I have to remove airbag to get access to this??

Re: computer controlled climate control

Vacuum control unit is behind ash tray. By removing the ash tray you can access the controller and vacuum lines.
Behind glove box there is two vacuum actuators: left one is for opening of lower ventilator and right one is for recirculator (left push buttons in panel).
Just over gas pedal there is one actuator with red and blue vacuum lines connected, one is for upper ventilator other one I don't know.
In this case I guess oil has destroyed vacuum control unit. Actuators move only half away when vacuum lines are connected to controller. When connecting lines manually they move all the way.
Now I'm only missing one actuator, the one which redirects air to windshield.
Does anyone know where this actuator is and how can I access it??

Re: computer controlled climate control

Are you getting full engine vacumn to controller?

Re: computer controlled climate control

Yes vacuum is coming to controller. When I bypass controller most of the actuators work. I removed the controller, it is a printed circuit board with five coils on it. Two of those coils click when I apply 12v to them rest of them are stucked. I guess there is now way to clean them cause you cannot open them anyway. I already ordered new unit from Rockauto ($68) so that will solve it.
I'm still trying to find one actuator which redirects air to windshield. It has brown vacuum line.?? I would clean this line too, if I could find both ends of it..

Re: computer controlled climate control

What is the engine vacuum to heater control reading?

Brown vacuum line goes to AC vacuum actuator.
